Frequently Asked Questions

How would you describe your shooting approach?

I love to be involved. From the moment you reach out, I want to help you with anything I can, even if it is not photography related. This helps me answer questions, direct and organize on your day of. I like to take charge and guide when needed and will stay in the background when applicable. As for your photos, you will receive candid and in the moment photos with a bit of gentle posing at times. Typically I like to capture your day how it happens, true to life. When it comes to portraits throughout the day, you will get a mix of prompts and gentle posing, leading to natural giggles and moments.

Do we need a second shooter?

This depends! A second shooter can be a huge plus in many ways! Having two photographers means extra angles and extra photos at the end of the day! It is also awesome to have for moments where I may not be able to be in two places at once (ex: getting ready in separate locations).

Do you travel?

I sure do! Traveling is a favorite of mine and I would be so honored to travel to or with you!

How would you describe your editing style?

My editing style is true to life, not too bright and not too dark. I like to add a little bit of warmth without over saturation as well. I believe that your photos should look how your wedding day looked with emphasis on genuine moments! After all, you spend so much time choosing each and every detail, it should be preserved the way you always envisioned it!

Can I split up payments?

YES absolutely! I offer flexible payment plans so you can secure your date and pay over time. Let me know if that’s something you’d like to explore!

How long until we receive our photos?

Full wedding galleries typically take me about 10 weeks to complete. You will receive sneak peaks in the meantime, though :)

How many photos will we receive?

I typically deliver about 75-100 photos per hour that I am photographing. You will hear my camera shutter going ALL day!
